Week of Prayer for World Peace
13th – 20th October 2024
The week of Prayer for World Peace takes place from the second to third Sunday in October each year, which in 2024 was from Sunday, 13th October to Sunday 20th October.
The WPWP 50th Anniversary celebrations began with a recent online Seminar with a number of the recent recipients of the Wilson/Hikes Peace Award. Contributors spoke about how they used their Award and what they are doing now. We heard about work with refugees, peace education and an update from Burundi about work to support people there.

Gatherings are held worldwide to celebrate the week and a leaflet of interfaith prayers and reflections is available each year.
